Diversity & Inclusion

Introduction
The International Fungi & Fiber Symposium is a volunteer run event with fungi and fiber at its heart. Our focus is on celebrating and promoting all aspects of fungi and fiber. To this end our aim is to engage as wide a range of participants as possible.

Inclusivity Values
The symposium respects the rights, dignity and worth of every person and will treat everyone equally within the context of our activities regardless of age, disability, gender, race, ethnicity, religious belief, sexuality or social/economic status.

Equal Opportunities Statement
We are committed to ensuring that no one involved or attending the symposium receives less favorable treatment on the grounds of ethnicity, religion/faith, age, gender/gender identity, marital status, sexual orientation or disability.

Diversity Statement
We recognize that prejudice and discrimination continues to result in unfair treatment for many people, and we are committed to addressing this by being clear and open about our values, listening, learning and taking action to bring about change, and ensuring action to make this effective.
