We chose Fort Worden for this symposium with the comfort of all IFFS attendees in mind. The campus is flat and fully accessible via paved walkways connecting all buildings we will use. Both the dorms and shared homes are within a short walk of the cafeteria and the USO, our main meeting area.
Our favorite aspect of attending the symposium is making new friends and networking with people who share common interests. There are several community spaces throughout the campus to chat and work on crafts in between symposium events.
Check-in and Check-out Monday October 19th - Symposium check in is from 3-6 pm; Fort Worden room check-in will begin at 4 pm. Dinner is at 6 pm, a social hour at 7 pm, and the official Symposium welcome at 8 pm. Sunday October 25th - Breakfast from 8-9 am; room check-out at 11 am, and lunch is included at 12-1 pm.
